The official CELPIP website provides paid materials and workshops but does not offer 1-on-1 teaching. Materials are often in English, which can be stressful for beginner students. Who can join the events? How much do they cost?
Our events are available for everyone. You don’t have to enroll in one of our classes for access, and our events are free for everyone!
What kinds of events do you host?
Our events are geared toward CELPIP preparation, learning tips and tricks, and providing advice for future test takers on how to score extra points in the writing and speaking sections. We collaborate with local professional CELPIP instructors to share their knowledge with you!
How can I access the event?
Once you’ve signed up for the event, you will receive an email with the link to join the Zoom meeting. Join up to 30 minutes beforehand to ensure your microphone and camera work. You do not have to turn them on during the event; all you need to do is listen! Once the event is over, you can exit the meeting by clicking the meeting window closed.
Will I learn anything new from events compared to CELPIP classes?
Events are meant to educate the community about CELPIP and answer any general questions they may have. These events also connect the community with CELPIP officials who can provide insider information about the exam or offer tips and tricks, as well as with instructors to provide their own insight, or realtor agents who can speak about their CELPIP experience. You will learn about how CELPIP can be used practically and different techniques on how to study for the exam.

We regularly host events throughout the month to accommodate our participants so they can attend the events that fit into their schedule.
Who do you host during your events?
Not only do we invite certified CELPIP teachers to offer tips and tricks, but also guest speakers from Paragon Testing Enterprises, licensed immigration consultants to speak about the benefits of CELPIP, and licensed realtors to provide advice on their CELPIP experience and how they used their high scores to achieve their careers.
Can I request for certain guest speakers to join the event?
Of course! Please connect with us with who you have in mind, and we will do our best to arrange for a future event with that certain individual.
What should I do if my microphone or camera don’t work?
Not to worry, you do not have to turn your camera on or use your microphone. If you wish to make a comment or ask a question, you can type it in the chat box, and you will be able to participate through the chat function.
